This is the story of the stroller that produced twins, twins, twins, twins, adopted twins from China, and possible twins that produced one very Lucky singleton.
Once upon a time, there was a Magic Fertility
Twins stroller. I say Magic, because every single person who owned it
turned up pg with TWINS! Now, we're not sure why. One person postulated
that it was because there were elephants on the hood, which are a sign of fertility in some cultures.

Inglesina Swift Review
Fall Swift
It seemed like Autumn took forever to get here. Those 90 degree days may have something to do with it. Many of the trees are still green. I told StrollerPrince 2.0 they are confused. But at least, some are changing.
I think this new yellow Inglesina Swift blends in nicely with the leaves, don't you? And check out how tall that canopy is. So much headroom for S.P. 2.0.

A little Valco recall
A lot of people become unnecessarily alarmed whenever the CPSC recalls a baby product. In most cases, the issues are minor, and many times they could be prevented by a little caution. Not always though. Some are truly serious, and hazardous. But they are all lumped together, which causes consumers a lot of confusion.
So rather than just posting an alarming press release, we went directly to the source for an explanation. This recall involves the add-on toddler seat for the Tri-Mode and Zee, single and double. No injuries have been reported.
National Sales Manager Shalom New explained it to SQ: "It
is the spring loaded button that pops into the stroller housing to secure the seat to the stroller. It was limited to a few batches. They were tested
and compliant to 65lbs of weight but in use started to pop out. We are
replacing those buttons with new stronger buttons that can withstand
even more weight."
And here is the "official" Valco response:

Baby Jogger Sues Britax!
It's the battle of the Titans! I have reviewed both the City Mini and B-Agile. How similar do you think they are?
BABY JOGGER™ FILES SUIT AGAINST BRITAX FOR PATENT INFRINGEMENT OF THE CITY MINI STROLLER
(Richmond,
Virginia) August 15, 2012 – The Baby Jogger Company, original inventor and
leading manufacturer of the three wheeled jogger and all-terrain stroller,
today filed a lawsuit against Britax Child Safety, Inc. (“Britax”) in the U.S.
District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. The suit involves Baby Jogger’s patented and
proprietary Quick-Fold Technology and asserts claims against Britax for patent
infringement, trade dress infringement, and unfair competition based upon
Britax’s attempt to knock off one of the most popular and best
designed strollers on the market, the City Mini®, a sales leader in its market
segment each year since 2007.

Inglesina Trip Review
So just as we re-visit one of our favorite colors, we re-visit one of our favorite umbrella strollers--the Inglesina Trip. It has been around for a while, which is maybe why some people forget to include it on their "Stroller Bucket List"--i.e. strollers to try, before it's too late.

Baby Jogger City Versa Review
And now we present to you...drum roll...the US debut of the BABY JOGGER CITY VERSA!
So simple to use, even a child can do it!
And so to illustrate that point, my DD demonstrates some of it's fab features. It really wasn't planned that way. But when we got home from her Irish dancing Feis yesterday, we were so excited to see that it had arrived that we tore open the box. As I was putting it together, in seconds, it seemed, she was impressed. She asked if we could go out and take it for a stroll. And so we did.

It was developed by a lovely British "MomPreneur" whose young daughter was having trouble napping with the sun in her face.
BabyHome Emotion Stroller Review
Last Day of School Emotion
Every end of school year brings tears. From me, not the kids. They are shouting for joy and whooping and hollering "SUMMER! SUMMER!" And me, I am crying for another year gone by. And this year, we had not one, but two children graduating. Leaving their schools, moving on. Maybe I don't have any more babies at home to keep my emotions in check, but I do have the Babyhome Emotion.
Stroller, that is. And it makes me very, very happy.

The Leprechaun Mobile
Ahh, Joovy. Just a few years ago, they hit the ground strolling, with, um, strollers. Then they added play yards and toys, high chairs and cots, tricycles and CARS! Real, motorized, you drive 'em cars! So what better Birthday gift for a boy who loves all things with wheels, StrollerPrince 2.0.Here he is, in his Joovy "Leprechaun-Mobile."

Joovy Groove Review
Groove-y Groundhog Day
Will he or won't he, will he or won't he...
Hmm, I know I wrote this before. Just like the movie GroundHog Day, where Bill Murray is forced to re-live his day over and over.
Only last time, I was talking about the Joovy Kooper, and whether Selena Gomez would sing. (She did.)
This time, I'm talking about the Jovvy Groove, and whether Punxatawy Phil will see his shadow. (He did.)
We don't have Punxatawney Phil here, but we do have the Pinewood Derby.
And the all new and improved Joovy Groove.
It's pretty snazzy for an umbrella stroller. There are two cupholders on the back, edged in reflective piping.
Underneath is a big zippered pocket. The ergo foam handles are really comfy to push.
The basket is a pretty good size. And there is an automatic lock on the side, to keep it closed when folded.
There is a long extended footrest, and a good recline.
A side carry strap makes it convenient for travel.
Other well thought-out details include reflective, padded harness straps, and inside net pockets.
The seat on the new Groove is bigger than average.
As is the giant sun canopy.
And guess what? Sealed bearings on the wheels means no rattles on the StrollerQueen Obstacle Course!
Which makes StrollerPrince 2.0 so happy, that he busts into his "Groove-y GroundHog Day Dance."
