How to clean your stroller, and it's easy!
SQ Tip: Cleaning your stroller, as promised!
First of all, don't be intimidated. In a previous tip, I mentioned the importance of preventative maintenance. What that means is, don't let it get to the point where you want to throw your hands up and scream. Because then that can feel overwhelming. Nevertheless, you have to start from where you are. And if where you are is a big mess, so be it.

Cybex Twinyx Double Stroller Review
Every year, as the weather warms up, I start getting asked the same question over and over... "StrollerQueen, what is a good double stroller for travel?" Here's a new one to try..brought to us by our good friends at Regal Lager and Cybex..the Twinyx! It's basically a double version of the popular Onyx umbrella stroller. My friend Emily and I had a lot of fun playing with it at the park, with our children, of course! She really liked the push, the seat size, the handle height, and that it took up so little room in her car. I liked the silky smooth fabrics that are easy to wash, the sharp look, the easy harness adjustments, and the canopies that slide up or down, for taller or smaller children. Go Regal Lager! Go CYBEX!
Cybex Twinyx Double Stroller

Peg Perego Book Plus Stroller Review
Birthday Book Plus
Have you ever noticed what happens when you marry two great ideas into one, like peanut butter and chocolate, a forward and reversible seat stroller, St. Patricks' Day and Easter? The result can be stupendous, as you are about to see.
This story is about the latter two, not the former, although I do really like Reese's cups. Combining St. Patrick's Day and Easter together this year was happenstance; they just came too close together. Combining a forward and reversible seat stroller into one was Peg Perego's brainchild--which resulted in this lovely Book Plus. And like the merger of all strong unions, the offspring is a force to be reckoned with.

Stroller Lights
Here's
a SQ tip for strolling at dusk...get a stroller that has reflective
piping. That was DD's fussy time, and a walk in the cool air would calm
her down. We called it "The Witching Hour." But there were a few times
in crosswalks we almost bought the farm.
I shudder to remember. They didn't have many strollers with the
reflective strips then. But some people used reflective tape, or even
hooked up tiny, twinkly, battery operated lights.

StrollerQueen Tip: Keeping your stroller clean
Hi Strollerland! Due to popular demand, I have been posting a series of StrollerQueen
Tips on FaceBook. In case you missed the there, I am also posting them here. But if you do like them, could you pop over there and hit the Like button? Thank you!
Today's SQ tip is on clean strollers....well I guess it's two separate
posts--one on keeping a stroller clean, and another on cleaning it if
you don't, lol! Now it's not that hard to clean a stroller, and if you
are using it every day, you are going to
have to. But you can lessen the time between washings if you take a few
preventative measures.

Combi Catalyst Stroller Review
Happy Combi New Year!
Combis are a tradition at our house. (Remember the ultralight Savvy Z? Well, I still have one. Um, two actually. Leopard and Jungle. And remember the flat recline, snack tray Utra Savvy Yep, have one of those in black licorice. Of course, there is a reason. But I will tell you that later.)
Going to the beach on New Year's is another tradition. Building sand castles, splashing in the waves, writing our names in the sand.

The Famed Fertility Twins Teutonia Swing Review
This is the story of the stroller that produced twins, twins, twins, twins, adopted twins from China, and possible twins that produced one very Lucky singleton.
Once upon a time, there was a Magic Fertility Twins stroller. I say Magic, because every single person who owned it turned up pg with TWINS! Now, we're not sure why. One person postulated that it was because there were elephants on the hood, which are a sign of fertility in some cultures.

Inglesina Swift Review
Fall Swift
It seemed like Autumn took forever to get here. Those 90 degree days may have something to do with it. Many of the trees are still green. I told StrollerPrince 2.0 they are confused. But at least, some are changing.
I think this new yellow Inglesina Swift blends in nicely with the leaves, don't you? And check out how tall that canopy is. So much headroom for S.P. 2.0.

A little Valco recall
A lot of people become unnecessarily alarmed whenever the CPSC recalls a baby product. In most cases, the issues are minor, and many times they could be prevented by a little caution. Not always though. Some are truly serious, and hazardous. But they are all lumped together, which causes consumers a lot of confusion.
So rather than just posting an alarming press release, we went directly to the source for an explanation. This recall involves the add-on toddler seat for the Tri-Mode and Zee, single and double. No injuries have been reported.
National Sales Manager Shalom New explained it to SQ: "It
is the spring loaded button that pops into the stroller housing to secure the seat to the stroller. It was limited to a few batches. They were tested
and compliant to 65lbs of weight but in use started to pop out. We are
replacing those buttons with new stronger buttons that can withstand
even more weight."
And here is the "official" Valco response:
