Stokke Crusi with Sibling Seat Stroller Review

 Stokke Crusi with Sibling Seat

For a long time, the venerable high-seated Xplory was the only stroller Stokke offered. And now, they've introduced two new models with a bang! The smaller Scoot,
which we recently reviewed, and did a giveaway
and now, the double Crusi!

 And it is spectacular!

The Crusi is what happens when you marry the Xplory with the Scoot. So if it looks familiar to you, that's why. The main seat is the Xplory seat, and the sibling seat is the Scoot!

Which means you still have most of the same great features, like the high quality fabric with SPF 50 UVA/UVB.

The canopies feature visors, and you can zip them open for a nice air flow.

There's a net to keep out the flying buggies.

Like the Scoot, the handle is height adjustable.

The footrest is also height adjustable, so you can move it lower for a longer legs. Very unique feature.

The Crusi is suitable from birth, and comes with great infant insert. There is also an optional bassinette.

It comes in seven different colors. I mixed it up with a red main seat and blue second seat on a silver frame because, well, it's Independence Day. And I also like the ability to customize. Matchy matchy is so boring!

The sibling seat is strategically placed in center of the stroller, between the front and rear wheels. This is for easier pushing, but it also eats up basket space.

It looks a little small, but SP 2.0 took turns with his friends riding around in it, and they all fit fine. Remember, this is the Scoot seat, so it's a pretty good size.

Love how high the seat is. Provides a great view of the fireworks.

The  wheels are absolutely terrific. See the suspension?

and the rear are a generous eleven inches. So it was a "blast" to push on the SQ Obstacle Course.

Like you didn't know that was coming, lol!

One really nice thing to remember is that the Crusi carries a 3-year warranty, if something should go wrong. So reassuring when a company provides that kind of support.

If you think you might have two children close together, you can start out with the single seat Crusi.

Then later on you can get the adapters and seat, or just the adapters if you decided to purchase the Scoot, too!

Wave the flag for bigger kids--we were told both seats can hold 45 pounds!

Save up those greenbacks, though. Retail on the Crusi is $1250, and the sibling seat is $299. At least it comes with the raincover, mosquito net, and cupholder, so you aren't getting nickled and dimed to death.

  1. I like that the handle height is adjustable. That really helps when walking to have the pushing be comfortable after a lengthy time.

  4. I love that you can add in the sibling seat, yet use it as a single stroller too.

  5. I would go with the review if it was done with 2 siblings and not just one child and the bottom sibling seat being used as a bascket...... I have read some reviews that are not very positive. I ordered the Crusi and the Scoot with all extras. I am going to cancel the order after doing some solid homework on the Crusi. I suggest you go read up on reviews where the Crusi has been used for 2 children. Otherwise it is a great single stroller!
